Your firm's beta
What your firm gets during the private beta, where to find when it ends, and that you won't be charged.
Your firm is in Sidesheet's private beta. You can use the app free until your firm's beta access ends, and each firm has its own end date.
During the beta, your firm gets:
- The whole app: projects, extracting returns, review, the financials and export.
- As many people as you want to invite. There's no user limit.
- A set number of returns each month. How returns are counted explains what uses one and what happens if your firm runs out.
You won’t be charged during the beta.
Good to know
-
Your firm's end date shows when an admin finishes setting up the firm, on the No subscription needed screen: "… has beta access until … You won’t be charged during the beta." It names your firm and the date its beta access ends.
The No subscription needed screen at the end of firm setup, with the firm's name and the date its beta access ends. -
After setup, the Plan section under Settings > Billing and usage says "Your firm is on the beta." It doesn't show the end date. To check it, email hello@sidesheet.co.
Billing and usage in Settings: Usage shows this month's returns and the day they reset, and Plan says the firm is on the beta. -
Only admins see Billing and usage. Admins also see how many returns are left this month under Usage, and the day they reset. Members can ask an admin.
If something goes wrong
- "Your firm's access has lapsed." Your firm's beta has ended. You can still view your work, but you can't upload or edit. On Billing and usage, admins see "Your beta has ended. We’ll be in touch about what’s next." Questions? Email hello@sidesheet.co.
