Good to know

  • Your authenticator doesn't change. You still enter its code at every sign-in.
  • We email you to say your password was changed. If you didn't change it, reset it again.
  • If you've only ever signed in with Google or Microsoft, you have no Sidesheet password to reset. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft; that account's password is managed by Google or Microsoft. See Ways to sign in.
  • Lost your authenticator? See If you lose your authenticator.
