Ways to sign in
Sign in with an email and password, Google or a Microsoft work account, link or unlink them, and why you're asked to sign in again.
You can sign in to Sidesheet with an email and password, with Google, or with a Microsoft work account. Each way you link opens the same account.
- Email and password. Enter both on the sign-in page and choose Sign in.
- Google. Choose Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
- Microsoft. Choose Continue with Microsoft and sign in with your work account. Personal Microsoft accounts can't be used.
If your account has an authenticator, you enter its 6-digit code next, whichever way you signed in.
To add another way, open Settings from the account menu, then Account and security. Under Sign-in methods, choose Link Google or Link Microsoft and sign in with that account. To take one off, choose Unlink Google or Unlink Microsoft beside it. We email you whenever a sign-in method is linked or removed.
Good to know
- The email method and your last method can't be removed.
- You may be asked to sign in again after a while.
- Sign out everywhere, under Sessions on the same page, signs you out on every device, this one included.
- Forgot your password? See Reset your password.
If something goes wrong
- "Incorrect email or password." Check the address, or choose Forgot your password? to set a new one.
- "We couldn't finish that sign-in. Please try again." Google or Microsoft didn't finish signing you in. Try again, or sign in another way.
- "Could not link that method. Try again." The link didn't finish, and nothing changed. Try again from Account and security.
